Summary: The story begins with the Pandavas growing up in the wilderness with their mother, Kunti. They then go to live in Hastinapura, where their cousins, the Kauravas, resent them; they even try to kill Bhima. When Karna (Kunti's abandoned son) shows up for Drona's contest, Duryodhana befriends him. The Pandavas escape Duryodhana's plan to burn them in their home, and the comic book includes the Pandavas' adventures while in hiding from Duryodhana. Draupadi becomes the wife of all five brothers, and the story ends with Yudhishthira's installation as emperor in the rajasuya ceremony at his palace in Indraprastha.
